Jerry Bizer
Dr. Jerry Bizer, after graduating for
Indiana University School of Optometry in 1971, began
private practice. During the ensuing 27 years he built the
largest and most successful optometry pracitce in the
country. Dr. Bizer's VisionWorld encompassed 19 locations
in the states of Kentucky, Indiana,Tennessee, and Missouri,
employing over 600 people including 63 optometrists and one
ophthalmologist. Additionally he holds several patents in
field of fabrication of prescription eye wear. Moreover,
from 1992 to 1999, he was a franchisee of Papa John's
Pizza, building 23 restaurants in Cleveland, employing over
500 people, which were eventually sold back to the P.J.
corporation. Since selling his businesses and retiring in
1998, Dr. Bizer has been involved in investing in numerous
early stage and start up ventures giving them as much
assistance as possible.
Casey Clements
Mr. Clements spent the last 12 years of his
career with Data Advantage Corp., a Louisville based
healthcare information company. Established in 1992, Data
Advantage Corp. developed a series of Clinical Resource
Management tools and benchmarking products for hospital
systems, vendor and consulting markets. As Managing
Director, Casey has been responsible for national sales
relationships. He was the also the co-founder and principal
of a Medicare reimbursement consulting firm, PBS
Med-Request, which recouped dollars for hospital systems.
Mr. Clements was also Vice President, Marketing, for the
Hospital Services Division of Integrated Health Services, a
large skilled-living facility company. Casey started his
career with then-named Vencor, working for one of their
first LTAC hospitals in Chicago, before moving to Atlanta
to open a new facility. He graduated from Centre College
with a BA in English in 1985.
